Plant-Based Liverwurst to Hit Deli Counters Soon!

liverwurst

Liver-loving vegans rejoice! Soon we will be able to enjoy the deliciously nauseating taste of liverwurst like our Depression-era grandfathers once had, except without any liver!

A San Jose-based startup mostly known for developing an app that alerts users any time “The Shawshank Redemption” is on TV is behind the project. As plant-based burgers rose in popularity, a space for all versions of plant-based became noteworthy. The market was there and the demand was rising. Sausage, chicken, and now, finally, liverwurst will be available for purchase and with no risk of environmental damage.

Consumers are anxiously awaiting the opportunity to gag on the oddly textured “meat”

Deli counters known for offering sliced lunch meats and cold cuts will eventually offer the product. Also, specialty supermarkets and grocers will carry the liverwurst with a giant possibility of Whole Foods stocking the item as well. Consumers are anxiously awaiting the opportunity to gag on the oddly textured “meat” that was popular with smelly old men who worked and farted at their manual labor jobs in generations past.

The plant-based liverwurst will retail for ah who really cares, and it has yet to be named. Some suggestions have included “L’verW’rst”, “Live or Worse…”, and “Beyond Liver”.
