IHOP Is Teaming Up with WD-40 for The Ultimate Flavor Experience!

Pancakes? Syrup? Non-volatile viscous oil? This is what the combined powers at IHOP and WD-40 believe to be the next level of all-day brunch. The popular restaurant chain will offer menu items for a limited time that incorporate the flavors of the equally popular aerosol can of penetrating oil/water-displacing spray.

The promotion will run throughout June, inspired by Father’s Day, but also to provide fans of IHOP with another innovative option to their stomach-cramp inducing cuisine. In the past, IHOP has offered Frankensteined creations of food nobody asked for including funfetti pancakes, Italian cannoli pancakes, and churro pancakes. However, this collaboration with WD-40 is an unusual one with a recognizable brand.

IHOP, the popular restaurant chain, will offer menu items for a limited time that incorporate the flavors of the equally popular WD-40, an aerosol can of penetrating oil/water-displacing spray.

The items to be offered include Squeaky Clean Cakes, The Reduced Friction Feast, and what’s sure to be a popular-selling item: The Greased Up Rollin’ Colon Breakfast Dumpster!

Spokespeople for each company have indicated the inspiration for this promotion is to encourage fathers to sit with their children over a hearty meal of IHOP faves, while not ignoring the advantageous benefits of using a product like WD-40 on typical household or automotive repairs. We’re intrigued by the execution of sweet and fluffy pancakes with slithery WD-40.
