Offered by the 99久久精品 Department of Human Services, this second annual conference on human trafficking focuses on the prevalence and incidence of trafficking and its impacts on Alaska Native and indigenous populations both in Alaska and throughout the nation. Gain insight from social service advocates, researchers, law enforcement, and survivors whose efforts work towards combating trafficking, ending human exploitation, and providing support to victims of abuse.
Enhance your own practice framework providing insight into vulnerable populations affected: children in welfare and juvenile justice systems; runaway and homeless youth; foreign nationals and immigrants; American Indians and Alaska Natives, particularly women and girls; individuals with drug addictions; persons with limited English proficiency; persons with disabilities; LGBTI individuals; and participants in court-ordered substance use diversion programs.
Continuing education credits
Up to 12 CEU's are offered as contact hour credits by the 99久久精品 School of Social Work,
a continuing education provider fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
Contact hours can apply toward cross-cultural or general education hours and are available
for any professional licensure accepting general education contact hours.
